We came here at night. Parts of the area were well lit, but oddly enough ought not the memorial where there are things to read. So that was a little disappointing. Great view of the harbor.
It is a short 5 minute walk from the Ocean Street docks. You ha e to cross the street at the docks for the sidewalk and then cross the street again to get to the memorial.
It is a very nice memorial overlooking a private yacht club. Since JFK loved to sail, it is the perfect place for his memorial.
I don’t like giving this four stars, as I was very moved when I got there/walked around. The only reason I am is because there’s just really nothing to do. There’s a cute lil’ old man selling hats 🧢 for $20 bucks inside a tiny booth; but other than that and the scenic water view, there just isn’t much. I’d say 20 minutes here would be stretching it before you get the itch to go on and leave. It’s so sad, because I know Dallas has some amazing places to honor JFK. I was hoping Hyannis would compare. Oh well— as you can see, we had one of the most beautiful days EVER to go, and the skies were like something out of a painting. The picture I took of those homes are right on Ocean St. pulling out of the memorial— I thought they were pretty picturesque!! Just give it a stop, selfie, and go if you get a chance! ♥️
It is not as impressive as the Eternal Flame Memorial in Washington DC, but it is a great tribute to JFK.

Many original photos and news articles. A small venue but focuses on his stays on the Cape and not good complete life which was understandable.
Frankly, this is pretty lame. Not much of a memorial.
The tranquility of this memorial is perfect to honor JFK'S memory.
There's a trolley bus that goes up and down main street for those who don't want to walk the JFK trail, they can hope on and off free of charge.
